Description

This is an unrooted cutting, depending on how long it takes to sell might have a few roots.

Cereus forbesii ‘spiralis’ are large, hardy, shrub-like cacti with showy large flowers. Native to Brazil, they were once thought to be a nursery cultivar of the more common Cereus forbesii. However, there is evidence that at least one spiralis plant exists in the wild. Cuttings of the plant were taken in 1980 and brought back to the UK, where they were sold for a high price. Since then, hybrid breeding from seed and cloning through propagation has led to the spiralis we know today.
